Netflix is growing with more than 3 million members in three months
The past three months video streaming service Netflix has grown by 3.3 million members Worldwide.
That was announced by Netflix during the presentation of the figures for the second quarter of 2015.
The United States accounted for 900,000 new members. The remaining 2.37 million are from other countries.
The video streaming service initially expected a growth of 2.5 million members in the second quarter of this year. The popular streaming service has exceeded its own expectations.
Netflix currently has 65 million members, of whom 62.7 million are charged monthly for the service. In the same quarter last year, the number of paying members was 47.9 million.

Netflix reported that after the launch of the third season of Orange Is the New Black, the company has streamed a record number of hours of video, even though it had to compete with the latest installment of Game of Thrones on HBO.
In addition, Netflix announced that the company wants to focus on adding their own films, which were commissioned by Netflix. It does this already with several Netflix TV Shows, including House of Cards and Orange Is the New Black, and with some documentaries like Hot Girls Wanted and Chef's Table.
Netflix CEO Reed Hastings also confirms its plans to make Netflix available in all countries from the end of 2016. This includes the major markets of China and India.
