Netflix is updating the smart TV app
Netflix gives its apps for smart TVs and consoles an update. It is the first time since late 2013 that the apps are updated. That was announced on the official Netflix blog.
Now when you select a title, it will start or resume playing while displaying key information to help you confirm your choice. They’re letting the content speak for itself by providing a more immersive and cinematic experience that best represents the capabilities and expectations of today’s TVs.
Videos play all out while selecting films or TV series. According to Netflix it is now easier to make a choice. The change was announced in March and has been tested in recent months among a section of the Netflix users. The global update comes in the next days to "eligible devices." It is not known which devices are covered.
