The brothers Zef and Roni are very different. In Paris, Zef's wife is buried about the same time as Roni's daughter is getting married. Zef's daughter unknowingly falls in love with Roni's daughter's fiance. Problems arise. Over two tumultuous years, bickering brothers Roni and Zef -- and their daughters -- find their family bonds tested by death, romance and betrayal.
