Escape from the Planet of the Apes (1971)

Fleeing their world's destruction, Cornelius, Zira and Milo travel back in time to 1970s Los Angeles. But the apes can't escape fear and suspicion. The world is shocked by the appearance of three talking chimpanzees, who arrived mysteriously in a U.S. spacecraft. They become the toast of society, but one man believes them to be a threat to the human race. Roddy McDowall and Kim Hunter reprise their roles from the original Planet of the Apes in this third chapter of the Apes saga. Two intelligent simians from the future, Cornelius (McDowall) and Zire (Hunter) travel to present-day Earth.
