About Stefano Fresi
Born in Rome on 16 July 1974, he left his studies in literature to work at the age of 23. At the same time, he begins to approach the theater, through music. He is indeed a composer, a singer and a musician. Only later did he also engage in acting on stage. With his performance in the show The Three Musketeers, by Attilio Corsini, he attracts the attention of Michele Placido, who asks him to play the Secco in his dramatic film Romanzo criminale (2005). In 2008 he was directed by Anna Negri in Riprendimi, in 2012 by Massimiliano Bruno in Viva Italia, and in 2014 he played the role of Alberto Petrelli in the film I Stop When I Want, thanks to which he got, with the character of a graduate chemist but he is forced to work as a dishwasher in a Chinese restaurant and works with a group of temporary workers to create a new type of drug, a David di Donatello nomination for Best Supporting Actor. In 2016 he was awarded by Francesco Fiumarella, author of the Vincenzo Crocitti International Award, the Award for Best Cinematographic Actor. In 2014 he starred in the movie Every damn Christmas, then, in 2015 in Noi e la Giulia by Edoardo Leo and in La prima volta (by my daughter) by Riccardo Rossi, with whom he won the award for best actor at the XX edition of Roseto Opera Prima . In 2018 he stars with Paola Cortellesi in the year-end film La Befana, which comes at night, playing Mr. Johnny, the main antagonist of the film. In March 2019 he is the protagonist of the film C'al tempo, directed by Walter Veltroni. He was responsible for writing the Rai jingle broadcast since 2010.
