A Danish old boys/50+ soccer team is heading by bus to northern Sweden when they forget Vagn at a gas station. He tries to catch up hitch hiking. A young criminal gives him a ride that turns into a road trip. When Vagn is left behind at a gas station on the way to a soccer match, he gets a ride from an awkward robber. It turns out they have a lot in common.
